Summary of the benefits of cover
For full terms and conditions, please read the Policy Wording.
What is the age limit?
Our Single Trip policy is available for people up to age 70. If you’re aged over 70, please click here.
What is the maximum duration of a Single Trip?
We cover trips up to 90 days.
When does cancellation cover start?
You are covered for cancellation as soon as you book your travel insurance. Even if you trip dates don’t start for a couple of months you are protected for cancellation cover as soon as you purchase insurance.
Can Single Trip cover mean cheaper insurance?
Single Trip travel insurance will usually be cheaper than Annual Multi-trip because you are only paying for the days that you are on holiday rather than cover for the year.
However, if you plan on travelling more than once, an Annual Multi-trip policy may work out cheaper for you rather than buying multiple Single Trip policies. Also ideal if you like to take short breaks or long weekends as you will be covered as soon as you have booked the trip and don’t need to worry about travel insurance each time.
What activities are covered?
Our Single Trip policy includes cover for over 100 activities, from Abseiling to Safari Trekking and Jet Boating to Whale Watching – view activities covered for free.
A Winter Sports option is available for an additional premium.
How can I tell that this policy covers everything I need before I travel?
It is important to be aware of what you will (and won’t) be covered for when you take out any insurance policy.
For cover limits, you can view the Policy documents; you can also compare the cover options to see which one will suit you best.
We also recommend you read the Insurance Policy which has the terms, conditions and exclusions in. Once you have purchased your policy, you have 14 days to return the documentation for a full refund if you are unhappy with the small print (as long as you haven’t travelled, made or intend to make a claim).
